Alexandre Ancel

A member of the Paris Bar since 2018, Alexandre Ancel is Counsel in the Corporate / M&A department. 

Alexandre is involved in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and, more generally, corporate law, with listed and unlisted companies, in a national or international context.

He handles a wide range of projects involving company or asset acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, divestments and asset reclassifications, restructurings and mergers, and assists investors in all types of private equity transactions (LBOs, innovation capital, expansion capital, etc.), particularly in the renewable energies sector.

Alexandre is a graduate of Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master I Droit des Affaires), Université Paris Descartes (Master II Droit des Affaires) and INSEAD (LLM and Business Foundations Certificate), Singapore.

Prior to joining CGR Avocats, he worked for a number of French and international law firms. He was also a lecturer in Corporate Law at the Université Paris V Descartes.

Guillaume Richard 

Guillaume Richard is counsel specialized in business litigation and industrial risks. A lawyer at the Paris Bar since 2018, he now assists French and international groups, particularly in the industrial and energy sectors, in resolving complex disputes. He has particular expertise in liability litigation, contractual disputes, post-acquisition litigation, and executive liability. Guillaume also works for renewable energy actors in managing their private law disputes and pre-litigation. He regularly conducts training for stakeholders in this sector as part of the France Wind Energy association. Before joining the firm, Guillaume worked in a law firm specializing in construction law and professional civil liability. He holds a Master 2 in General Private Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.

Yaël Cambus

Yaël Cambus is counsel specialized in energy law, focusing mainly on public law, urban planning law, industrial environmental law, renewable energy law, and contractual arrangements on public property. She has over 15 years of experience in various administrative litigations related to these fields. Yaël has in-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector, particularly wind (onshore and offshore), photovoltaic, hydroelectric, and biomass. She assists her clients throughout the project’s lifecycle, from development to operation, both in advisory and litigation. She also has specific expertise in grid connection and access, advising and representing clients before regulatory bodies (dispute settlements before the Energy Regulation Commission).

Cyprien Bès de Berc

Cyprien Bès de Berc is counsel specialized in public business law, particularly in the energy sector. Admitted at the Paris Bar since 2018, he advises and litigates for private and public operators, both French and international, in complex operations involving public regulation, public contracts, environmental permits, and urban planning. He also has expertise in mobility and transport sectors. Prior to his legal career, Cyprien worked as a law clerk at the Conseil d’Etat for two years. He holds a Master’s in Business Law, a Master 2 in Public Business Law from the University of Paris I, and a degree in Public Affairs from Sciences Po Lille.
